   Upshur County Grassroots Tea Party Rally July 3rd 2010

on the Courthouse Lawn, Gilmer Texas. Rally starts at 9 am with the music of White Chocolate. Followed at 10 am by speakers Jerry Lang and Rep. Bryan Hughes.

  REPRESENTATIVE BRYAN HUGHES

 

Bryan Hughes represents District Five in the Texas House of Representatives. He is Vice-Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and serves on the Human Services Committee. He is Vice Chair of the Rural Caucus and Joint Presiding Officer of the Health & Human Services Eligibility System Legislative Oversight Committee, which supervises Texas’s efforts to modernize and reform our welfare system. Bryan is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Conservative Coalition.

Born and raised in Wood County, he attended Tyler Junior College and the

University of Texas at Tyler, receiving his BBA in Economics, cum laude, in 1992.
